Reopening the Evening Sanctuary (crisis peer support 7 days a week , 6pm – 2am) went extremely well due to the preparation and planning that took place by the Mosaic team. Now the same care is enabling the Clubhouse to open to members during the day.
Says the Evening Sanctuary’s Lenka Hlavata: “Although it feels different with a reduced number of people in the building and safety adjustments, everyone respects the guidelines set and a supportive atmosphere prevails. Members express their appreciation for support received. After providing mainly telephone support during the lockdown, it is exciting to finally meet face to face!”
Programme Manager Beverley Randall backs up these sentiments, happy to announce that the clubhouse building is now open from 11am until 3pm, Monday to Friday, by appointment only.
“Members need to contact their engagement worker to book a appointment,” she says.
“It’s been great seeing our members again, they were truly missed. We have been in contact with everyone remotely but seeing everyone is extra special.
We continue to host zoom unit meetings for members who are unable to attend the clubhouse physically. We are also encouraging members to attend the clubhouse at least once a week to avoid being socially isolated.
Please book, we would love to see you. We will provide you with Masks and carry out all the necessary checks to keep everyone safe.”
